A unique profile of British pop superstar Robbie Williams
The film is based on interviews conducted by filmmaker Michael Gracey with Robbie Williams over a period of a year and a half at Williams’ recording studio in Los Angeles, USA. Although the interviews were not originally intended for a film, as Gracey “just wanted [Williams] to tell his story in his own voice,” most of Williams’ voiceover in the film is taken from those recordings. Robbie Williams: If you want to laugh, just do it on the inside, okay?
It’s so full of life
He appeared in The 7PM Project: Episode 5 December 2024 (2024). I wish they could make more films like this. The monkey actually made a lot of sense and made the relationship between us and Robbie much easier to understand.
Undeveloped, raw Robbie doing it his way
The film is full of production value, life lessons, stunning, and let me repeat, AMAZING music and dancing. Now for the monkey, the best part! For some reason I can’t quite explain, it made the story even more relatable.
What a great production
Not so I felt like I was watching a monkey, but definitely Robbie Williams. I think the whole film crew should give themselves a pat on the back. I can’t wait for more films like this.
