Chronology
Men and women live in a giant silo underground, with a series of regulations that they believe will protect them from a toxic and broken world. Whether they’re exploring the stars, escaping a dystopia, or making the world a better place, these women are what science fiction is all about. Season 1 covers the first 30 chapters of Wool — the book is 82 chapters long. The fans on the floor spin in the wrong direction in terms of the direction of the blades at various points.
I really liked Silo
Featured on WatchMojo: 10 Best TV Shows of 2023 You Need to Watch (2023). Just my kind of show. I love mystery and suspense. I haven’t read or heard of the books Silo is based on.
The story is good and interesting
The show is set 140 years after the apocalypse. The remaining 10,000 people live in the silo and have never been outside. They don’t even know what a star is. They do know, however, that going beyond the silo is fatal.
The acting and character development are good too
Some decide to go out to find out more, but they always die. Those who stay in the silo can witness through the window every time someone wants to leave and see how and when they die. Rebecca Ferguson plays Juliette Nichols, who tries to find out what’s outside the silo and why they can’t leave without dying. However, the pacing can be a bit slow, as there are a few filler episodes.
I can’t wait for season 2
I could definitely shorten the series by at least two episodes, but that doesn’t bother me that much because the series as a whole is so good. With more suspense, mystery, and answers to what’s going on outside the silo!
